Lithuania Becomes Associate Member at European Organization for Nuclear Research

On Monday, 8 January 2018, Permanent Representative of Lithuania Ambassador Andrius Krivas and Director General of CERN Dr. Fabiola Gianotti exchanged diplomatic notes about the completion of necessary procedures for the entry into force of  the Agreement on Lithuania‘s associate membership at CERN. As of this date, Lithuania becomes an associate member at CERN. Dr. Fabiola Gianotti congratulated Lithuania on becoming the first Baltic State to achieve this status.
