ABOUT THE PARK
Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park (SVSTP), founded in 2003, features long-standing traditions in development of entrepreneurship, promotion of business and science collaboration, technology transfer, provision of startup incubation, infrastructure and other innovation support services to young, innovative enterprises, knowledge-intensive business and enterprising members of universities community and R&D environment.
PREMISES
Since 2008, almost 200 companies of which more than 100 start-ups operated in SVSTP (premises consist of 6 400 m2). Around 60 innovative, technology-based companies which work in the fields of IT, laser technology, artificial intelligence, clean technologies, and others are constantly operating in the Park.
PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES
SVSTP is implementing entrepreneurship promotion, technology transfer and innovation support projects. SVSTP is Lithuanian ambassador of the world’s largest green business ideas competition “ClimateLaunchpad”; coordinates “Futurepreneurs” – the first and only sustainable business pre-accelerator in Lithuania; coordinates Sunrise Valley Digital Innovation Hub; SVSTP established and coordinates Cleantech Cluster Lithuania; co-organizes Vilnius city hackathon “Hack4Vilnius”.

SUNRISE VALLEY
SVSTP operates in a unique environment – Sunrise Valley – the biggest knowledge triangle (study, research, business) in the Baltic States. Around 60 innovative companies, 5000 scientists and researchers, and 30 000 students work in Sunrise Valley. SVSTP closely cooperates with Science and Technology Park of Institute of Physics, which opens up vast opportunities for the growth to laser and optical companies.
SVSTP cooperates with the following authorities on a one-stop basis:
- the strongest and largest universities in Lithuania - Vilnius University (VU) and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU).
- Biotechnology business incubator which has 22 laboratories with state of the art equipment.

VU Life Sciences Center
The most advanced life science education and training center with 10 trainee scientific laboratories, 23 modern open-access laboratories, 9 open-access expansion centers for biotechnology and molecular medicine research and experiments.
Center for physical sciences and technology
Is the largest scientific research institution carrying out unique fundamental research and technological development works in scientific fields of laser technologies, optoelectronics, nuclear physics, organic chemistry, bio and nanotechnologies, electrochemical material science, functional materials, electronics, etc. in Lithuania.
VGTU civil engineering science center
Which concentrates Lithuania’s greatest potential in the field of civil engineering. Center connects 8 laboratories with special equipment, which is considered unique in the Baltic States.
VU laser research center “Naglis”
Which carries out laser and light technology research.
Centre for Innovative Medicine
With 7 laboratories and a research center.
VU Hospital Santaros Klinikos
One of the major hospitals in Lithuania encompassing the provision of medical care in almost all key areas.
